All private charter operations in Costa Rica are regulated by the Dirección General de Aviación Civil (DGAC), Costa Rica’s civil aviation authority, which enforces standards aligned with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) guidelines. Aerocaribe is fully licensed and certified under DGAC regulations. Every non-scheduled (charter) flight requires advance authorization with route, aircraft, and passenger information submitted to aviation authorities.
