What is the best time of year to book a private charter flight in Costa Rica?

Aerocaribe operates year-round, but timing matters for your overall experience. The dry season (December through April) is peak tourist season on the Pacific coast — expect the best beach weather in Tamarindo, Nosara, Santa Teresa, and Manuel Antonio, but also higher hotel rates and more air traffic. The green season (May through November) brings lush landscapes, lower hotel prices, and spectacular wildlife activity — especially in Tortuguero (sea turtle nesting, July–October) and the Osa Peninsula. We recommend booking charter flights at least 3–5 days in advance year-round, and 1–2 weeks ahead during peak holidays (Christmas, New Year, Easter).
